Hip Hop (Primary-Advanced): Combines jazz with the latest urban street styles. This class starts with a conditioning warm-up and teaches contemporary street dance. Students can begin Hip Hop Primary at age 5. Class placement dependant on age and dance level.
Modern: A style of dancing that is not as restricted as classical ballet; movements are expressive of feelings, complex emotions and abstract ideas.
Tap (Secondary-Advanced): Tap dancing uniquely teaches rhythm and coordination while strengthening the feet and legs. Traditional style tap is taught in all of the classes, however “hoofin” and “jazz-tap” styles influence many of the intermediate and advanced levels.
Lyrical (Beginning-Advanced): Combines strong ballet technique with freedom of movement and expression. Lyrical dance can also be described as a mix between ballet and slow jazz movements that combine to tell a story.
